It’s been a standout month at CastMeNow. We’ve welcomed more new actors than ever before — and behind the scenes, we’ve been working nonstop to make submissions smarter, faster and more reliable, all while doing our best to spread the word across the acting community. ✨

Hearing stories of actors landing multiple Eco Cast and self-tape requests within just a few days of joining — that’s exactly the kind of impact we’ve been working toward 🎯

That being said, I wanted to highlight a few powerful new features we’ve rolled out to make CastMeNow work even better for you:

🔍 “Why You Were Submitted”

Ever wondered why a particular role was chosen for you? We now show a quick rationale for each submission—so you can understand the match and better tune your auto-apply preferences.

📱 Enhanced Mobile View

A fresh new mobile layout for your Applied Roles dashboard—so you can track submissions and media on the go, without needing scroll sideways or zoom!

🎥 Smart Reel Selection

Based on the custom descriptions you’ve added in your Profile Hub, CastMeNow now intelligently selects the most relevant reel for each submission. If you’ve enabled “Submit All Reels,” we’ll continue to send everything. For everyone else, this new system ensures only the most contextually appropriate media is submitted—automatically.

🧠 Profile Hub Revamp

We’ve made significant improvements to the Profile Hub:

• Add descriptions to each reel and photo so we can match them better to future roles.
• Cleaner Layout: Only your active, visible media is shown—no clutter. Archive anything you don’t want considered.
• Easier Updates: Refresh your latest photos and reels anytime with improved visuals and streamlined editing.

✏️ Detailed Preferences, Better Matches

Make sure your role preferences are as detailed as possible. The more specific you are, the more accurate your auto-submissions will be.

🔧 Fixes & Tweaks

Some of you had trouble finding and linking your casting accounts — we've made it much easier now! While linking your accounts, you’ll see a direct link to the right page on the casting platform (as long as you're logged in) so you can quickly grab the correct information.
