Early 2026 Update: WeAudition Partnership, More Platforms, Availability & What's Next!

We're kicking off the new year strong and we've got a lot to share. It's been freezing here in NYC š„¶ but our team has been hard at work. We continue welcoming new users from all over the globe and figured it had been a while since we sent out an update, so here goes!

š Two New Platforms Are Live!
We've officially launched full support for AllCasting and NYCastings, bringing our total platform count to six. Link your accounts from the dashboard and you're good to go.
For AllCasting, some roles require external applications like emailing the CD directly or filling out a form. We handle those too!

š International Expansion: Previews Now Open
We've been getting more and more requests from actors outside the US and we're listening. Big time.
We've added preview support for five international platforms across three regions:
- Casting Workbook (Canada šØš¦)
- Showcast (Australia š¦šŗ)
- Mandy.com (Europe šŖšŗ)
- Filmmakers (Europe šŖšŗ)
- etalenta (Europe šŖšŗ)
These aren't fully live yet, but you can join the preview directly from your dashboard under the International tab. Sign up early so you're first in line when we flip the switch.
We're serious about making Castmenow work for actors everywhere, not just in LA and New York.
š Availability: You're In Control
Another highly requested feature is here: Availability.
You can now set bookout dates directly from your dashboard, dates when you're unavailable for work. Here's how it works:
- Hard bookouts: You're completely unavailable. Castmenow won't submit you to any roles with overlapping work dates. Period.
- Soft bookouts: You might be available under certain conditions. Add a note explaining the situation, and our AI will evaluate each role on a case by case basis before deciding whether to submit.
Whether you're traveling, on set, or just need a break, your submissions now respect your schedule. No more explaining why you can't make a callback you were auto-submitted for.
You'll find Availability in your navigation under the Talent dashboard, complete with a calendar view for picking date ranges.
š Coming Soon
Here's what's on the horizon, in addition to adding the additional platforms:
- Multi-Region Support: For actors working across multiple markets. Set your regions and get matched to opportunities in all of them simultaneously.
- Multi-Reel Selection: Go beyond "all reels" or "smart pick." Soon you'll be able to control exactly which reels get submitted to which types of roles, giving you full creative control over how you present yourself to casting.

- Continued stability improvements across all platform integrations
- Better error handling for edge cases on newer platforms
- Improved profile data handling for more accurate submissions
- Various UI polish across the dashboard
