🧠 Smarter Role Preferences — Powered by AI
We heard you: onboarding and setting preferences was hard to get right. So we built an entirely new smart intake AI assistant that chats with you, understands your goals, and fills in your role preferences automatically!
We're also playing around with idea of weekly voice-based check-ins to update your settings by literally talking to an assistant. Tell it how your week went, and let it adapt your strategy accordingly. It’s like having a virtual career coach in your pocket!
✍️ Submission Notes — Your Way
You can now choose exactly how we handle your submission notes. This one’s been highly requested — and we’re stoked to have finally shipped it:
- Custom — Write your own
- Smart — Let us generate it for you
- Always Submit — A note goes out with every submission, period
🎯 Auditions Landed Tracking
Yes, we’re now showing you how many auditions you’ve landed directly through CastmeNow.
Some actors have already crossed 200+ auditions in just a few months. 🤯 You can now track your progress and see the impact in real numbers.
🔍 Discover Page: Next-Level Upgrades
We just leveled up Discover in a big way. Discover was always powerful but now it’s effortless. Now, you can:
- Hide roles you’re not interested in or ones you've been applied to
- Filter by due date, posted date and best fit score
- Have submission notes auto generate on a drop down!
🆕 Our Most Requested Integration Is Finally Here (Beta)
The third — and most requested — integration we’ve been asked about is finally live in beta. TADA!
You can now opt into the add-on and effortlessly get started. More roles, more reach, zero extra work. This one’s fresh out the oven so if you hit any snags, just reach out!
We’ve also made some small but mighty improvements to our matching engine. You’ll now see more accurate roles based on your preferences — and we’re expanding coverage across more locations and casting platforms. It’s all about precision and breadth.
🔮 What’s Next?
We continue to stay focused on our core experience that gets you ahead — smarter headshot and media selection, sharper role sourcing, and better filtering. It’s a delicate dance: balancing new features we get asked for vs continuing to make the platform feel like magic. But that’s the bar we hold ourselves to — and we’re not letting up.
